1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device through your browser. They let a site remember a choice you made or recognise your browser on a later visit. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in the same way and are covered by this policy.

2. Cookies used on this Site

sanug.com.tr (the "Site") sets only two kinds of cookies itself.

2.1. Cookie preference

The cookie bar is shown only once. The Site stores a small record in your browser so that the bar is not shown again. This record contains nothing but your choice, or the fact that the bar has been shown, and is kept for twelve months. If you do not make a choice, analytics stays off. The record is necessary for the Site to respect your decision and does not require consent.

2.2. Analytics cookies

If you accept analytics cookies, the Site loads Google Analytics, a service provided by Google LLC. It sets the cookies _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier, each kept for up to two years, to distinguish browsers and sessions. The information collected, such as the pages you view, the time of your visit, your approximate location and the type of device and browser you use, is sent to Google and reported back to us in aggregated form. Google may process this information in the United States. If you decline, these cookies are not set and Google Analytics is not loaded.

The Site does not use advertising cookies, and it does not set cookies for user accounts or logins.

2.3. Form security check

When you start filling in the contact form or the newsletter sign-up, a security check provided by Cloudflare runs in a frame loaded from Cloudflare's servers. Cloudflare may store data in your browser that is strictly necessary for this check. It is used only to tell people from automated programs, not for analytics or advertising. See Cloudflare's Turnstile Privacy Addendum.

3. Third-party content that does not use cookies

The fonts used on the Site are loaded from Google Fonts. To deliver them, your browser sends a request, including your IP address, to Google's servers. No cookies are set by this request.

4. Changing your choice

You can change your decision at any time by clearing this Site's stored data (cookies and site data) in your browser settings; the cookie bar will then appear again on your next visit. You can also block cookies through your browser settings; the help pages of your browser explain how.

5. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the cookies used on the Site change. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last changed.

6. Contact

Questions about cookies on the Site can be sent to webpost@sanug.com.tr.
